I'm using these in my car to wrangle a wire that connects a digital map GPS type screen. The adhesive stuck well to my car's dash, and the configuration of the wire path secures the wire while also making it easy to reposition the wire. In my case, I sometimes remove the GPS thing so it doesn't get in the way of the car wash people, and these little dots let me remove and replace the wire very easily while still holding it well in place when it's all put back.
