I have been looking for a high quality suede lace substitute for some time now and I have finally found one I truly love. I produce anywhere between one to three hundred necklaces a year and I had been going back and forth between getting real leather, suede, and deerskin lace and faux suede with mixed results. Some faux suede I used broke easily and felt very foamy, but the faux suede I ordered from Beadnova is very resilient! It is very giving, it even has a little stretch to it, and it also is capable of making very small knots without feeling bulky and stiff. It is also a very soft material overall with a very nice feel on the neck which can sometimes be sensitive to scratchier materials. This product was also a killer deal! Why buy two yards of cord over and over again when you can buy in bulk for a fraction of the cost?! I'll definitely be purchasing more, not only when my supply runs low but also in different colors.
