I have used this product for sewing cloth masks and have not had any problems or complaints about the ties.Works decent and is a great size for masks. However, the elastic runs if you don't cut it perfectly (so no using dull scissors or a dull rotary cutter) and my sewing machine shreds the elastic pretty often. I'll be sewing a mask, and go to invert the mask to find the elastic shredded which then leaves me with an unusable mask.Received the 1/4" elastic promptly and it is exactly what I need for making face masks. It is soft and does not stretch out of shape. I am very pleased with the quality.This elastic is perfect for making face masks. The width fits comfortably around the ear. One of the few places I could find this item.Work as adverstised. I used it for the masks and it's good solid elastic.Elastic worked perfectly on my maskGets the job done. Buying more.The elastic melts if your iron hits the elastic. It causes fraying and I have to redo my entire sewing product.Not good quality product.
