This is my first bass guitar. I've been playing drums for 15 years and decided to try a new instrument. I've always been interested in bass though. Now to the review. ... the bass itself is great quality for the cost. It is Chinese made as it says on the back of the guitar and every other component but what isn't Chinese built these days. The amp is plenty powerful enough for practice. Strap and cord are decent quality. The tuner feels cheap but works perfectly. Checked it with wife's piano too. It's accurate... I have slight buzzing from the top E string unless playing an open E. I think it just needs adjustment and will be ok. Overall I'm thrilled with my purchase and will definitely buy Dean products again.
